Currently available in Japan is the Kyoto University ADB Scholarship 2024–25 from the Asian Development Bank. Asian Development Bank Scholarships are available to all international students worldwide. ADB Japan provides full funding for master's degree programs at Kyoto University. The application fee for the scholarship is nonexistent. Asian Development Bank and Kyoto University are offering two-year master's degree scholarships.

Every year, ADB offers 300 scholarships to international students across multiple countries. Every course is offered in English. So prior knowledge of Japanese is not a requirement for application. As of right now, the ADB is the highest fully funded scholarship award.

Kyoto University Scholarship Eligibility Requirements:
- be a citizen of one of the mentioned ADB nations.
- an outstanding academic record combined with a bachelor's degree or its equivalent.
- a minimum of two(2) years of full-time professional job experience at the time of application, obtained upon completion of an undergraduate degree.
- 35 years of age or older at the time of application. In extreme circumstances, the age limit is 45 for programs meant for top officials and managers.
- After the program is over, you commit to going back home.
