IMPORTANCE OF EMAIL AND ACCEPTANCE LETTERS
Getting a Government scholarship is one of the most important parts of the
educational journey for a student.
Every student's heart wish is to study at the best university in
the world on scholarship. And every year, thousands of students study at
the world's top universities
on scholarships.
The scholarship covers tuition fees, books, and living expenses as
well as a monthly stipend. One of the best ways to secure a scholarship
is to approach professors who specialize in your field of study.
Emailing professors for scholarships can be intimidating,
especially if you don't know how to email and what to say.
In this case, we will try our best to show you how to email and also share my experience of how I emailed the professor.
STEPS OF WRITING/DRAFTING AN EMAIL

SUBJECT LINE
The subject line of your
email should be clear and to the point. use that line that will get the
professor’s attention For example, “Request for Master Supervision, "Request
for an acceptance letter”, or “A passionate researcher inspired by Your
work: seeking MS/PhD supervision/ acceptance letter”.
INTRODUCTION
The introduction of your email should be brief and engaging. For
example, my name is ABC and I am a recent graduate from XYZ
University. Tell the reasons why you are writing this email to him
THE BODY OF THE EMAIL
The body of your email should be very well-structured and concise.
Begin by explaining your background and experience, including any relevant
coursework or research experience.
Next, explain your interest in the professor's research and how it
aligns with your own research.
THE CLOSING LINES
At the end of your email, you should be polite and professional.
Thank the professor for their time and consideration and express your interest
in hearing back from them.
For example, I appreciate your time and consideration. And I hope
you will consider me for the position in your research group.
PROOFREADING
After writing your mail, make sure there are no spelling or grammatical errors because you have to send it as a professional.
SEND EMAIL
When you read your mail check your email address and your contact
information and then send it to the professor.
REMINDER
If you don’t hear back from the professor after a week or two,
it’s okay to send a reminder email.
In your reminder email, politely inquire if the professor had a
chance to review your email and ask if there are any further steps you can take
to be considered for the scholarship.
NOTE: These email I personally used and got an
acceptance letter within a week
