Only one application channel may be selected by applicants. Applications that are duplicated over many channels are prohibited.

How to Apply

1. Apply for scholarships through SJTU

  • Scholarships for PhD programs will include the SJTU Fellowship, CSC/SGS Scholarship, and SJTU Scholarship beginning in 2025. Additionally, the following scholarships will be available for master's programs: SJTU, CSC/SGS, and school/college. Every scholarship's specifics are available through the application process.
  • Applying online: Go to http://application.sjtu.edu.cn/, select "apply for the scholarship through SJTU," and complete the instructions. Applicants must fulfill the university's standards and submit their scholarship applications on time.
  • If the university receives a positive evaluation result, the applicant will receive an offer of admission and scholarship sooner if the application is completed in full. The application system allows applicants to view the scholarship outcome.
  • Please be aware that candidates using SJTU to apply for Chinese Government Scholarships must upload the completed Application Form for Chinese Government Scholarship (available at https://www.campuschina.org/) and submit their applications by the deadline.
